In the daily update of the coronavirus cases registered in Sicily in the last 24 hours, from Ministry of Health (newsletter) 170 new infections are reported. The swabs performed were 6,645, out of a total of 483,845 since the beginning of the emergency. The total number of people currently positive in Sicily reaches 2,866 (+79), and there has been one death that brings the total number of victims to 311. Of the 170 new positives, we always read in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection today – 29 naval soldiers landed in Syracuse from the Margottini ship. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic, on the other hand, amounts to 7,118. There are 301 people hospitalized with symptoms in Sicily, of which 19 are in intensive care, while 2,546 are in home isolation. The healed / discharged since the beginning of the emergency are 3,941

IN ITALY: the infection curve for Covid 19 in the country remains stable. Data from the Ministry of Health shows that in the last 24 hours there has been an increase of 1,851 cases, about 200 more than yesterday but with about 15,000 more tampons: 105,564 against 90,185. The total number of infected people, including victims and cured, rises to 314,861. There was a slight decrease in the increase in victims: 19 compared to 24 registered on Tuesday, for a total of 35,894. No region has zero new cases and Campania, once again, is the one with the highest increase, with 287 new cases. Followed by Lazio (+210), Lombardy (+201), Piedmont and Sicily (+170).
