The new cases of Coronavirus registered in Italy in the last 24 hours are 23,232 (yesterday they were 22,930) for a total of 1,455,022 positives since the start of the health emergency. There has been a sharp increase of 853 deaths in the last 24 hours, up from 630 yesterday, for a total of 51,306 since the start of the epidemic. This is clear from today’s bulletin, Tuesday, November 24, released by the Director of Prevention of the Ministry of Health, Gianni Rezza, at the ministry’s press conference on the analysis of the epidemiological situation. Those cured since the beginning of the pandemic are 605,330 (+20,837, yesterday +31,395). The currently positive cases are 798,386 (+1,537). Of these, 34,577 patients are hospitalized with symptoms and 3,816 in intensive care. Overall, the swabs performed in the last 24 hours were 188,659. The Region with the most positive daily cases is Lombardy with 4,886 new cases, followed by Lazio and Emilia Romagna.
