Coronavirus cases in Sicily are declining: there are 1,083 new positives recorded in the last 24 hours, in 6,894 swabs performed; 13 deaths, bringing the total to 676.

With the new cases, the current positives rise to 21,467 with an increase of 730. Of these 1,427 are hospitalized with an increase of 97: 1,250 in the ordinary regime and 177 in intensive care with an increase of eight hospitalizations. There are 21,467 in home isolation. 340 are cured.

The new positives are distributed as follows by province: Palermo: 152, Catania 239, Ragusa 198, Messina 200, Trapani 5, Siracusa 175, Caltanissetta 92, Agrigento no more cases, Enna 22.

The epidemiological curve in Italy has dropped, however, given the lower number of swabs made. Today there are 32,616 cases against 39,811 yesterday. Deaths are on the decline, 331 today versus 425 in the previous 24 hours, while the total number of victims amounts to 41,394.

The swabs performed were 191,144, 40,529 less than yesterday’s 231,673. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health. The buffer / positive ratio is constant and remains around 17%., like the increase in patients in intensive care remains stable.

The number of positives currently in Italy has reached 558,636 (+26,100). Of these 26,404 are hospitalized with symptoms (+1,331), 2,749 are in intensive care (+115) and 529,447 in home isolation (+24,654). Since the start of the pandemic, 335,074 people have been discharged or cured, with an increase of +6,183 in the last 24 hours.
