There are 34 cases detected by the examination of 521 swabs carried out, according to the bulletin of the Region on Saturday, December 26, which reports 59,005 total positive cases since the beginning of the emergency. The province with the highest number of positives is Genoa with 3,121, followed by La Spezia, where the positives are 810; 1,067 and 420 in the provinces of Savona and Imperia respectively. There are 160 positive people residing in Liguria, but outside the region, while 216 swabs are being tested. A total of 5,794 positive people currently.
There are 738 hospitalized patients, of which 66 are in intensive care, while in home isolation, in therapy that is within the walls of the house, there are 4,934 people. Forty-four recently recovered, for a total of 50,367 since the beginning of the emergency (patients who test negative in the molecular test; patients who resolve the symptoms of covid-19 infection and for whom 21 days have elapsed since the beginning symptoms – after evaluation by clinical experts and microbiologists / virologists – Ministry of Health circular reference n.32850 of 12/10/2020). The total number of victims is 2,844, 2 more than yesterday.
As for the subjects under active surveillance, this is monitored because they are contacted by cases, in the territory of Asl 1 there are 870, in that of Asl 2 instead of 691, 2,910 those of Asl 3, 531 in Asl 4, 638 in Asl 5.
There are 34 new positives registered today in Liguria out of the 521 swabs performed. This is the detail:
