The epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 148 cases.

These are the data – verified today at 12 o’clock on the basis of institutional requests – related to the evolution of the epidemic in the region.

In the last 24 hours, 9,133 swabs were made, for a total of 2,612,313. To these are also added 52 serological tests and 7,812 quick swabs performed since yesterday.

As for the total of people cured, they are 1,787 more than yesterday and reach 115,260.

Active cases, that is, actual patients, to date are 56,385 (-241 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, that is, those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are asymptomatic, total 53,466 (-269), 95% of all active cases.

Deaths and hospitalizations

Unfortunately, there are 54 new deaths: 21 in Bologna (11 women, two of whom are 89 years old and the remaining 72, 73, 78, 83, 85, 88, 90, 93 and 94 years old and 10 men, two of whom 86 years and the remaining 47, 57, 82, 85, 87, 89, 92 and 94 years).

In Modena nine deaths (five men, two of whom are 81 years old and the other 64, 73 and 94 years old and four women aged 55, 77, 92 and 93 years old) eight in Ravenna (five women aged 75, 83, 90, 92 and 95 years old and three men of 86, 89 and 96 years old); five in the province of Forlì-Cesena (five men, two of whom are 83 years old and the remaining 78, 84 and 86 years old).

There have been no deaths in the last 24 hours in the province of Ferrara. A 48-year-old man, diagnosed by the Piacenza Ausl but residing outside the region, also falls among the dead.
