Viterbo – We received and published – 44 confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were reported, out of 11, by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus Operational Team of the ASL of Viterbo.
The latest reports of positivity are related to swabs made to citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: 16 in Viterbo, 6 in Monterosi, 4 in Ronciglione, 3 in Civita Castellana, 2 in Sutri, 2 in Bassano Romano, 2 in Corchiano, 2 in Nepi, 1 in Capranica, 1 in Fabrica di Roma, 1 in Soriano nel Cimino, 1 in Orte, 1 in Ischia di Castro and 2 residents outside the province.
Of the current cases, 31 have an epidemiological link with previously verified and already isolated cases, 11 are connected to swabs done to detect symptoms, one is connected to a swab done after a positive antigen test, and one is a swab done after a positive serological test. 41 are convalescing at home, 3 are currently hospitalized in the Belcolle infectious disease ward.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 801 of which 43 are cases verified in extra Asl structures.
Today, institutionally competent subjects were notified of the Covid-19 recovery of three patients, having received the report of negativity compared to two swabs performed consecutively after a few days.
The negative people are residents or domiciled in the following municipalities: 1 in Vetralla, 1 in Tarquinia and 1 in Capranica.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 14 are hospitalized in the infectious disease ward, 3 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center and 226 are convalescing at home. The number of negative people rises to 530, 28 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the start of the Covid emergency, 32 thousand 2 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 369 in the last 24 hours. To date, 535 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,721 have completed the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday, the Belcolle and Civita Castellana analysis laboratories reported 9861 serological tests. Of these, 137 were successful, with a prevalence rate of 1.38%.
