Abruzzo coronavirus, here the epidemiological bulletin of Sunday, May 10. The new positives are 17, of which 15 in the Pescara Local Health Authority.
In Abruzzo, since the beginning of the emergency, 3103 positive cases were registered in Covid 19, diagnosed through tests carried out in the regional reference laboratory of Pescara, by the Zooprophylactic Institute of Teramo and by the University of Chieti.
Compared to yesterday, there was an increase of 17 cases out of a total of 1,294 swabs analyzed (1.3 percent). Yesterday (May 9) there were 8 positives out of a total of 668 swabs analyzed (1.2 percent).
233 patients (-13 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care (29 in the province of L’Aquila, 81 in the province of Chieti, 97 in the province of Pescara and 26 in the province of Teramo), 10 ( unchanged compared to yesterday) in intensive care (2 in the province of L’Aquila, 1 in the province of Chieti, 4 in the province of Pescara and 3 in the province of Teramo), while the other 1,428 (+8 compared to yesterday) they are in home isolation with active surveillance from the Local Health Authorities (49 in the province of L’Aquila, 485 in the province of Chieti, 763 in the province of Pescara and 131 in the province of Teramo) .
The number of positive cases also includes 359 deceased patients (+4 compared to yesterday): the new deaths (some of which occurred in the last days, but whose positivity to the virus has come in the last 24 hours) refer to one 89-year-old man from Montesilvano and 3 men from Pescara, 89, 84 and 85 years old (in any case, it will be up to the Istituto Superiore di Sanità to attribute the deaths to the Coronavirus, since these people may have suffered from previous pathologies); 1073 discharged / cured (+18 compared to yesterday, of which 229 who were symptomatic with clinical manifestations associated with Covid 19, have become asymptomatic and 844 who have resolved symptoms of infection and were negative in two consecutive tests ).
The current positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting from the total of the positives, the number of discharged / cured and deceased) are 1,671, with a decrease of 5 units compared to yesterday.
Since the onset of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 48,110 tests have been performed, of which 42,731 have been negative.
The difference between the number of tests performed and the results is related to the fact that multiple tests are performed on the same patient. The total also considers the number of exams taken and still in progress.
Of the total of positive cases, 243 refer to the Avezzano-Sulmona-L’Aquila Local Health Authority, 772 to the Lanciano-Vasto-Chieti Local Health Authority, 1444 to the Pescara Local Health Authority and 644 to the Teramo Local Health Authority.
Today’s 17 cases refer to 0 to the Avezzano-Sulmona-L’Aquila Local Health Authority, 2 to the Lanciano-Vasto-Chieti Local Health Authority, 15 to the Pescara Local Health Authority and 0 to the Teramo Local Health Authority.
The data refers to taking care of patients and does not necessarily coincide with their residence of registration, as there are patients residing in a province that are being treated in a different provincial ASL. Also, for clinical reasons, there are patients who have been transferred from one hospital to another, even in different ASL offices.
