Until December 3, at least, Abruzzo will remain in the “red band”. So it is very likely, as the commissioner of the Regional Health Agency said yesterday, Pierluigi cosenza, there is an extension of another seven days. An approach marked by great caution that however collides with two aspects: the first is that on December 4 new Dpcm that he could change the cards on the table; the second is that Abruzzo, at this point, is a very limited society compared to the regions that remain totally blocked. With the new ordinance of Minister Speranza, signed yesterday, in fact, only the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Tuscany, Campania and Valle d’Aosta remain in the “red band”. Tuscany already has a general agreement to go back to orange. The province of Bolzano will soon relax the measures.
In short, Abruzzo, in case of a new extension, could stay almost alone. We will see. Meanwhile, the situation offers some objective signs of improvement, but not in the province of L’Aquila, which continues to absorb much of the regional contagion. Not surprisingly, the Region yesterday launched a massive screening with quick swabs that will soon be extended, as Governor Marco Marsilio said, to the entire region.
