Coronavirus, a thousand infections in 24 hours but 27 thousand fewer tampons – Health

There are 1,008 coronavirus infections registered in the last 24 hours in Italy, more than 450 less than yesterday but with almost 27 thousand fewer swabs: 72,143 were done on Saturday, 45,309 yesterday. On the other hand, the increase in victims doubles in one day: from 7 on Sunday to 14 today, for a total of 35,624 since the beginning of the emergency. Among the Regions, Basilicata is the only one that does not report new cases.

The number of patients admitted to intensive care units and other hospital services due to Covid 19 continues to increase. Data from the Ministry of Health shows that there are currently 39,187 positives, 678 more than yesterday: of these, 2,122 are hospitalized in ordinary wards (+80), 197 in intensive care (+10) and 36,868 in home isolation (+588). On the other hand, the increase in discharged and cured patients in the last 24 hours is 316, for a total of 213,950.
