This was reported by the National Operations Center for the fight against covid, while according to a calculation by the Sputnik news agency, more than 4,500 infections have been registered since yesterday in Moscow alone. Thus, the number of cases in Russia amounts to 1,298,718, while the victims are 22,597.

Brazil – Brazil has exceeded the threshold of 150 thousand deaths for coronavirus, even if the daily death toll is slowly decreasing. Official sources report it. The South American country is the second in the world by number of Covid-19 victims after the United States, and the third by number of infections after the United States and India.

Israel – The blockade imposed on the country more than two weeks ago begins to take effect and according to the Ministry of Health there are now symptoms that seem to indicate a containment of the pandemic. Yesterday they were detected 887 positive cases out of 12 thousand swabs. This is a 7.3 percent figure, representing a sharp drop from the 10 percent recorded a week ago. The number of seriously ill patients is also declining: 825, compared to 857 last week. However, yesterday the death toll rose to 1914, that is, 222 more dead than on October 4.
