The number of new positives in Sicily continues to grow: there are another 96 cases registered in the last 24 hours (two migrants present in the Lampedusa hotspot). This is what emerges in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health. 173 people are hospitalized, 14 in intensive care and 1,856 in home isolation.
The current positives in Sicily amount to 2,043, while in total, since the pandemic began, 5,569 cases have been registered. The healed are 3231.
In Palermo even today the highest number of new cases with 26, followed by Trapani with 24. In the rest of the island 8 infections in Agrigento, 15 in Catania, 2 in Enna, 8 in Messina, 4 in Ragusa and 9 in Syracuse.
The epidemic curve also rises in the rest of the country: in all of Italy there are 1,585 new cases today, against 1,452 yesterday, but at the same time the number of swabs processed is also growing, reaching 101,773 (yesterday 100,607). Slight increase in daily deaths, 13 against 12 yesterday.
