Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 772 new infections have been detected – 7.74 percent of the 9,970 swabs made – and 34 deaths from Covid-19, to which are added another 18 victims of the coronavirus, registered in recent days but admitted only today in system. 14 deaths occurred between November 18 and 30 and another four occurred on December 1. This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
The number of deaths remains high: it is the second deadliest figure since the start of the pandemic (it was worst only on November 27, with 35 deaths), while the percentage of positives decreases compared to a record number of certified tampons . .
The current cases of infection are 15,297. There are 59 (one more than yesterday) patients in intensive care treatment, while the number of hospitalized in other departments is reduced to 629 (23 less than in the previous bulletin). The deaths totaled 941, with the following territorial subdivision: 321 in Trieste, 375 in Udine, 195 in Pordenone and 50 in Gorizia.
A total of 32,970 people who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic, of which: 7,696 in Trieste, 14,437 in Udine, 6,353 in Pordenone and 4,088 in Gorizia, in addition to 396 people from outside the region.
The totally cured are 16,732, the clinically cured 414 and the isolated 14,195.
Regarding the new positivity to the virus, in the sector of nursing homes 49 cases of people housed in regional structures were detected, while the health workers who were infected within the same structures are in total 12.
In front of the Regional health system (Ssr) the positivity for Covid of a health assistant, six nurses, a doctor, a psychologist, an ambulance driver and seven health social workers to be registered with the health authority of the Friuli Centrale university; at the Friuli Occidentale health agency of a health assistant, three nurses and a doctor; in the Giuliano Isontina university health company, an administrator, a radiologist technician, three nurses, a doctor and three Oss, and an administrative officer.
Finally, a person returning from Puglia and one returning from Tenerife must be positive for the virus.
