Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 736 new infections have been detected (10.71 percent of the 6,870 swabs made) and 25 deaths from Covid-19. This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
The number of positives increases slightly, but also the percentage of cases identified based on the swabs (yesterday it was at8.24 percent in 6980 tests).
The current cases of infection are 14,847. The number of patients in intensive care treatment has risen to 62 (seven more than yesterday) and to 637 (four more than in the last bulletin) hospitalized in other services. The deaths totaled 863, with the following territorial subdivision: 309 in Trieste, 329 in Udine, 184 in Pordenone and 41 in Gorizia.
People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic amounted to a total of 31,386, of which: 7,433 in Trieste, 13,875 in Udine, 5,899 in Pordenone and 3,803 in Gorizia, in addition to 376 people from outside of the region.
The totally cured are 15,676, the clinically cured 379 and the isolated 13,769.
The victims are a 100-year-old woman from Cividale del Friuli who died in a center for the elderly; a 97-year-old woman from Majano who died in the hospital; a 97-year-old woman from Udine who died in hospital; a 96-year-old man from San Vito al Tagliamento who died in hospital; a 95-year-old woman from Trieste who died in a center for the elderly; a 94-year-old man from Gorizia who died in a center for the elderly; a 93-year-old woman from Trieste who died in a center for the elderly; a 91-year-old man, a 79-year-old man, a 77-year-old woman and a 68-year-old boy who died in a nursing home; a 91-year-old man from Pasian di Prato who died in a center for the elderly; a 91-year-old man from Udine who died in a center for the elderly; a 90-year-old woman from Moggio Udinese who died in a center for the elderly; an 89-year-old man and an 88-year-old man from Casarsa della Delizia who died in hospital; an 89-year-old man from Nimis who died in a nursing home; an 84-year-old man from Cividale del Friuli who died in a center for the elderly; an 83-year-old man from Manzano who died in hospital; an 80-year-old man from Enemonzo who died in hospital; a 75-year-old man from Manzano who died in hospital; a 73-year-old woman from Pordenone who died in hospital; a 72-year-old man from Monrupino who died in hospital; a 72-year-old man from Cormons who died at home and a 55-year-old man from Tavagnacco who died in hospital.
Regarding the new positivity to the virus, in the sector of nursing homes 111 cases of people housed in regional structures were detected, while the health workers who were infected within the same structures are in total 41.
In front of the Regional health system (Ssr) the positivity for Covid of a doctor, three nurses, four health social workers, two technicians, a specialized assistance assistant and a rehabilitation therapist to be registered with the health authority of the Friuli Centrale university; two doctors, three nurses, three social-health workers, two administrators, a dietician and a laboratory technician from the Friuli Occidentale health company; four nurses, three doctors and two psychologists from the Giuliano Isontina university health company and a biologist from Cro di Aviano.
Finally, a person who returned from Bosnia should be positive for the virus.
