Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 680 new infections have been detected, of which 203 enrolled in private laboratories, compared to 3,298 certified tampons and 16 deaths from Covid-19.
After numerous backward tests, performed by private laboratories, were included in yesterday’s report, today the data has been ‘normalized’. Therefore, the number of swabs decreases and, in absolute terms, so does the number of new positives, which is still important in percentage terms when compared with the fewest tests.
“The total number of swabs – says the Region – is affected by a significant delay in loading the cards that will be recovered in the coming days.”
The current cases of infection are 14,670. The number of patients in intensive care treatment has risen to 57 (four more than yesterday) and 620 (16 more than in the previous bulletin) hospitalized in other services. The total deaths since the beginning of the pandemic is 817, with the following territorial subdivision: 301 in Trieste, 300 in Udine, 178 in Pordenone and 38 in Gorizia.
The totally cured are 14,588, the clinically cured 361 and the isolated 13,632.
People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic amounted to a total of 30,075, of which: 7,159 in Trieste, 13,174 in Udine, 5,695 in Pordenone and 3,683 in Gorizia, in addition to 364 people from outside the region.

Regarding the new positivity to the virus, in the sector of nursing homes 80 cases of people housed in regional structures were detected, while the health workers who were infected within the same structures were a total of 14.
Regarding the regional health system (SRH), the positivity for Covid of a nurse, a rehabilitation therapist and a doctor must register with the health authority of the Friuli Centrale university; three nurses, an Oss and a doctor from the Friuli Occidentale health agency; in the Giuliano Isontina university health company, an assistant and a technical operator; in the Burlo de Trieste an administrative and an Oss.
Finally, two people who returned from abroad (Croatia and Bangladesh) tested positive for the virus.
