At the time of her admission to the Infectious Diseases Service of the Udine Hospital, the woman, who was 96 years old, presented a complex clinical picture due to a series of other pathologies that had been developing for a long time.

Since September 17, the date of the Casa Serena outbreak, 16 people have tested positive for the coronavirus at the Pordenone facility, 13 of whom have been transferred to the Sacile RSA dedicated to accepting Covid cases. One of them, after being housed in the Liventina facilities, was later transferred to the Udine Infectious Diseases Department.

Another person, initially positive, was negative (three negative swabs) and today returns to Casa Serena. Two other positives, later detected, remained in the Covid nucleus of Casa Serena; of them, one was later transferred to the Infectious Diseases department of the Udine hospital on October 1.

Among the operators at the Pordenone facility, 8 are positive for coronavirus but are asymptomatic. All Casa Serena guests and operators received new swabs and the relative results are awaited.

BULLETIN. There are currently 812 people positive for the coronavirus in Friuli Venezia Giulia, two patients are being treated in intensive care, while 18 are hospitalized in other departments. The total of deaths linked to Covid amounts to 353.

Today 66 new infections have been detected, 14 in Trieste, 13 in Udine, 22 in Pordenone and 16 in Gorizia, in addition to a person from outside the region. Thus, analyzing global data from the beginning of the epidemic, the people who tested positive for the virus are 4,789: 1,627 in Trieste, 1,597 in Udine, 1,075 in Pordenone and 470 in Gorizia, to which 20 people from outside the region.

The totally cured amounted to 3,624, 19 clinically recovered and 773 people in isolation. The deceased are 198 in Trieste, 77 in Udine, 70 in Pordenone and eight in Gorizia.
