Coronavirus, 412 new infections and three deaths in Fvg

Today, 412 new infections were detected, compared to 6,521 swabs performed, and three deaths from Covid-19. in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The victims are a man born in 1961 from Sappada and two old men born in 1942, respectively from Udine and Tolmezzo. This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

This is the fourth consecutive day of a new peakafter 340 yesterday, 220 on Thursday and 219 on Wednesday. Today, Riccardi points out, our region has exceeded 500,000 swabs since the start of the pandemic, precisely 504,257.

A total of 7,827 people tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic, of which: 2,607 in Trieste, 2,776 in Udine, 1,537 in Pordenone and 846 in Gorizia, plus 61 people from outside the region.

The current cases of infection are 2,801. The number of patients undergoing intensive care treatment has dropped to 16, while the number of hospitalized in other departments rises to 100. The deaths amounted to 372, with the following territorial subdivision: 200 in Trieste, 85 in Udine, 76 in Pordenone and 11 in Gorizia.

The totally cured are 4,654, the clinically cured 25 and the isolated 2,660.

As for the new positivity of the virus, in nursing homes unfortunately, new outbreaks are reported: there are 19 positives in the Ada and Alfredo Arcicasa residences in San Quirino, 12 in Itis in Trieste, seven cases in the Asp della Carnia in Tolmezzo, nine positives in the Rttmeyer residence in Trieste, six in the residence Le Magnolie, also in Trieste. These are joined by a guest from the American residence in Villa Santina and a guest from La Pineta del Carso in Trieste.

Regarding the health workers working in the Rsa, three cases in the Rittmeyer residence, one in Le Magnolie, one in Cjase Cormons, one in San Giusto (Trieste), one in Casa Lucia di Pasiano di Pordenone and one in Casa Antonella (Trieste).

At the health system front, a nurse from Tolmezzo, a doctor from the Trieste Mental Health Center, an ophthalmologist (Asufc), a nurse from Pordenone, a nurse from Trieste, an Oss from Cro de Aviano and an internal medicine doctor from Gorizia.

Regarding productive activities and other professions in general, the cases of a firefighter, a dentist from Gorizia and a case at the BPM counter in Pordenone were detected.

Within the school system there are infections at the Petrarca Lyceum in Trieste, at the De Amicis primary school in Muggia and at the Della Torre school in Gradisca d’Isonzo.

Finally, it should be noted the cases of a person returning from Australia and another from Bulgaria.
