There are currently 1,423 people positive for the coronavirus in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The number of patients treated in intensive care has increased to ten and to 27 hospitalized in other wards. There were no deaths, so the total number remains 356. This was announced by the Deputy Governor in charge of Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
Today 38 new infections have been detected. Analyzing the global data since the beginning of the epidemic, the people who tested positive for the virus are 5,610: 1,872 in Trieste, 1,910 in Udine, 1,214 in Pordenone and 587 in Gorizia, in addition to 27 people from outside the region.
The totally cured amount to 3,831, the clinically cured are 19 and the isolated 1367. The deceased are 198 in Trieste, 77 in Udine, 72 in Pordenone and nine in Gorizia.
In the detail of the cases, with regard to intensive care, the hospitalization of a young 28-year-old health worker and three direct admissions that involved so many people of 79, 70 and 66 years respectively were recorded.
With reference to the new positivity detected, in the school environment, we report the case of a teacher from the Integral Institute of Porcia and a researcher from the Trieste Science Park Area.
Finally, in front of the health workers, a nurse from the Pediatric ward of the San Vito al Tagliamento hospital and an operator from the San Quirino nursing home tested positive for Covid.
