Coronavirus, 366 new infections and eight deaths in Fvg

Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 366 new infections have been detected, compared to 5,233 swabs performed, and eight deaths from Covid-19..

This is a 39-year-old man from Casarsa, with serious physical respiratory problems and who died in the Udine hospital; an 89-year-old woman from Trieste, who died in a retirement home; a 77-year-old man from Marano Lagunare, who died in the Udine hospital, a 76-year-old man; a 76-year-old from Udine, who died in the Udine hospital; a 69-year-old man from Sappada, who died in the Udine hospital; a 77-year-old young man who died in the Udine hospital; a 98-year-old Tolmezzo who died in a nursing home and, finally, an 85-year-old de Sacile, who died in the Pordenone hospital. This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic amounted to a total of 11,828, of which: 3,887 in Trieste, 4,415 in Udine, 2,146 in Pordenone and 1,251 in Gorizia, in addition to 129 people from outside the region.

The current cases of infection are 5,836. The number of patients treated in intensive care has increased to 39 and 205 hospitalized in other wards. The deaths totaled 411, with the following territorial subdivision: 211 in Trieste, 98 in Udine, 91 in Pordenone and 11 in Gorizia.

The totally cured are 5,581, the clinically cured 78 and the isolated 5,514.

NATIONAL DATA. Record number of deaths across the country, well 353, never so many since the beginning of May. Infections date back to 28,244, compared to 182,287 swabs. Attention is still high in Lombardy (6,804), followed by Piedmont (3,169) which surpasses Campania (2,971); there are 2,336 cases in Tuscany, 2,298 in Veneto, 2,209 in Lazio, 1,912 in Emilia-Romagna, 1,163 in Puglia, 1,052 in Liguria, 1,048 in Sicily.
