Coronavirus: 362 new positives but fewer swabs in Sicily, another 3 deaths

am 362 new positives in the last 24 hours in Sicily, about 200 less than yesterday, but also half of the swabs were done: 3,252 compared to almost 6,400 on October 18. This is what emerges from the latest bulletin from the Ministry of Health.

There are currently 7,019 cases, of which 521 are hospitalized, 72 in intensive care and 6,426 in home isolation. Those cured in the last 24 hours were 130, bringing the total to 5,267 while deaths amount to 368 (+3 compared to yesterday).

About the distribution among the provinces, in Palermo 170 infected, followed by Catania with 85, Caltanissetta with 27, Siracusa and Enna with 24, Ragusa with 22, Messina with 7, Trapani with 3 and no cases in Agrigento.

Like every Monday, boxes and tampons in the 24 hours are also decreasing in the rest of Italy: the new positives are 9,338 (yesterday 11,705), but with 98,862 swabs performed, 48 thousand less than yesterday. 423,578 total cases since the beginning of the epidemic. Deaths increased to 73 (yesterday 69), for a total of 36,616.

A new jump in hospitalizations, with 47 more intensive therapies (yesterday 45), reaching a total of 797, while ordinary hospitalizations are 545 more (yesterday 514), for a total of 7,676. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
