28 new cases of Coronavirus in Cesena. Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, 40,859 positive cases have been registered in Emilia-Romagna, 526 more than on Saturday, of the 9,189 swabs made. Of the new positives, 220 asymptomatic patients were identified as part of regional contact tracing and detection activities. The control and prevention activity continues: a total of 148 people (among the new positives) were already in isolation at the time of the swab execution and 232 were identified in the context of already known outbreaks. The average age of new positives today is 43.5 years. Of the 220 asymptomatic patients, 108 were identified through contact tracing, 58 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 3 through serological screening, and 2 through pre-hospital tests. In Bologna and its province, of 115 new positives, 90 are symptomatic and 25 asymptomatic. Of the 17 asymptomatic patients who are in epidemiological investigation, 5 have been identified with tests for specific categories (companies, Cra, school) and 3 for contact tracing. Of the 115 general cases, 97 are classified as sporadic and 18 attributable to identified outbreaks. In the province of Reggio Emilia, out of 71 new positive cases, 10 of which are asymptomatic, 34 are attributable to known outbreaks, 37 classified as sporadic. 59 new positives in the province of Modena, of which 36 were asymptomatic. In detail: 27 are contacts of known cases, linked to several outbreaks, 5 have tested positive for screening by professional categories and in the school environment, 1 is back from abroad (Ukraine) and for 26 cases, sporadic, epidemiological investigation. In the province of Piacenza there are 43 new positives, of which 18 asymptomatic. 9 for tests carried out in private laboratories; 1 in Cra, 3 for employee evaluation; 8 carried out by the territorial units of Usca due to the presence of symptoms and 15, again due to the presence of symptoms, for public hygiene; 2 for access to the emergency room, 4 in the school environment, 1 for the detection of health personnel.
Today there are 40 new positives in the Imola district, of which 11 are asymptomatic. 23 are contacts of already confirmed cases, mainly relatives or partners; 1 was screened with presurgical screening and 2 with occupational screening; 14, sporadic, rubbed because they were symptomatic. In Rimini there are 37 new cases, of which 22 are asymptomatic. 12 patients, considered sporadic, were identified by the presence of symptoms; 21 for contact with certain cases, mostly family; 2 for professional tests, 1 for pre-hospitalization tests and 1 for returning from abroad (Ukraine). In Forlì there are 32 cases, of which 15 are asymptomatic. 25 tested positive by contact with known positive outbreak cases; 2 after a swab requested by the family doctor for symptoms; 1 after swab performed at the end of quarantine by contact with positive; 1 from a swab made in a private laboratory; 1 for pre-admission swabs, 1 for screening in private nursing homes, and 1 for positive contact with family members

In Ravenna there were 16 new cases, 9 of which were asymptomatic. 6 sporadic patients, identified by symptoms, 8 by contact tracing, most of them by relatives and some from outside the province; 2 to return from abroad (Romania and Moldova). These are the data, verified at 12 noon on Sunday based on institutional requests, related to the advance of the epidemic in the region.
In the region
The swabs performed were 9,189, for a total of 1,375,298. To these are added 2,042 serological tests. Active cases, that is, the number of actual patients, is 9,163 to date (514 more than those registered on Saturday). Unfortunately, there are 6 new deaths: 1 in Modena (a 98-year-old woman); 4 in Parma and its province (3 men of 89, 80 and 74 years old and a woman of 91 years) and 1 in Piacenza (man of 82 years). People isolated at home, or those with mild symptoms who do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are a total of 8,657 (+ 500 compared to Saturday), about 95% of active cases. There are 67 patients in intensive care (+2 compared to yesterday) and 439 (+12 again from Saturday) hospitalized in the other Covid wards. In the territory, the 67 people admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 8 in Piacenza (one less on Saturday), 5 in Parma (stable compared to Saturday), 2 in Reggio Emilia (stable compared to the Saturday), 8 in Modena (+1 compared to Saturday), 30 in Bologna (2 more on Saturday); 1 in Imola (stable compared to Saturday), 2 in Ferrara (stable compared to Saturday); 2 in Ravenna (one less than Saturday), 2 in Forlì (stable compared to Saturday), 2 in Cesena (number unchanged compared to yesterday) and 5 in Rimini (1 more on Saturday). The total of people cured amounted to 27,181 (+6 compared to Saturday): 7 “clinically cured”, that is, they became asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection, and 27,174 those declared completely cured because they were negative in two consecutive tests.
