Further increase in deaths from coronavirus in Italy. In the last 24 hours, according to Civil Protection data, 262 people lost their lives (there were 195 victims yesterday), a figure that shows 31,368 deaths since the beginning of the emergency. The rise in Lombardy weighs on the death toll, where 111 victims have been registered in the last 24 hours. However, the number of positive people currently continues to decline: 2,017 fewer than yesterday, for a total of 76,440.

There are 11,453 hospitalized patients with symptoms (-719), ICU patients drop to 855 (-38). There are still 64,132 people in home isolation. In the last 24 hours, cures have increased by 2,747 units, bringing the total to 115,288. Since the beginning of the crisis there have been a total of 223,096 cases, an increase of 992 since yesterday. In total 2,807,504 swabs were made, the cases tested were 1,820,083.
