Viterbo – Coronavirus, 22 confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were communicated, at 11 am, by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus operational team of the ASL of Viterbo. Three other cases of positivity were detected in additional Asl healthcare facilities.
In total, today’s positives reach 25, as reported by ASL.
The latest positivity reports -explains the Local Health Authority- are connected to swabs made to residents or residents of the following municipalities: 10 in Viterbo, 3 in Soriano nel Cimino, 3 in Monterosi, 2 in Sutri, 2 in Oriolo Romano, 1 in Piansano, 1 Orte, 1 in Capranica, 1 in Civita Castellana, 1 in Vetralla.
Of the current cases, 13 have an epidemiological link with previously verified and already isolated cases, 11 are connected to swabs performed for symptomatology, 1 is connected to a swab performed after a post-serological examination. 21 are convalescing at home, 4 are currently hospitalized in the Belcolle infectious disease ward.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 1023 of which 56 are the cases found in extra Asl structures.
Today the recovery of Covid-19 was communicated to the institutionally competent institutions. 1 patient resident in the municipality of Viterbo.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 24 are hospitalized in the infectious disease ward, 3 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center, 423 are spending their convalescence at home. The number of negative people rises to 545, 28 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the beginning of the Covid emergency, 37,193 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 478 in the last 24 hours. To date, 966 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,906 have completed the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday, the Belcolle and Civita Castellana analysis laboratories reported 9935 serological tests. Of these, 139 gave positive results, with a prevalence rate of 1.40% ”.
