Statement from the general director of the ASL of Foggia, Vito Piazzolla: “The ASL of Foggia is committed to the continuous monitoring of the criticality registered in a nursing home in the municipality of Ascoli Satriano. The Hygiene Service has already cleaned all the guests and operators of the facility. 15 of the 23 guests present and 7 of the 14 operators were positive. All were taken over by ASL Foggia. For 4 of the guests, hospitalization was necessary. A new verification of compliance with the safety standards adopted in the structure is being carried out “.
