There are 233 new cases of coronavirus in Sicily, 26 less than yesterday. Four dead: two in Palermo, 98 and 83 years old, and a 95-year-old woman from Palermo, another 71-year-old man in Caltanissetta. 376 patients in ordinary regimen and 35 in intensive care in hospital. 7151 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. Twenty-four were cured (4478 in total). There are 3,490 in home isolation, 3,901 the current positive and 8,712 the total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic.
Regarding the province, 85 new cases in Palermo, 77 in Catania, 22 in Messina, 7 in Trapani, 11 in Syracuse, 15 in Ragusa, 12 in Agrigento and 4 in Caltanissetta, 0 in Enna.
New jump in the Covid epidemic in Italy. Today there are 5,372 new cases compared to yesterday’s 4,458, never so many since March 28, for a total of 343,770. Swab records, 129,471, about 1,400 more than yesterday.
Deaths also increase, 28 today against 22 yesterday, and are 36,111 since the beginning of the epidemic. Admissions increase: 161 more in the ordinary regime (4,086 in total) and 29 more in intensive care (387 in total). This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
