Coronavirus: 2,278 cases and 92 deaths in Lombardy

There are 2,278 coronavirus positives in Lombardy in the last 24 hours, compared to 31,939 swabs: the ratio between tests and new positives is 7.1%, compared to the last days. Compared to Monday’s bulletin, 1,328 more infected people. Between Brescia and the province there are 156 new infections: on Monday there were 157, on Sunday 242, on Saturday 248.

After weeks of slow but steady decline, hospital admissions are on the rise again: the balance is positive, with 37 more Covid patients in Lombard hospitals, of which 4,290 are in good condition (+58) and 540 in intensive care (- twenty-one) . Another 92 crosses are in mourning across the region, bringing the total to 24,512 coronavirus deaths since the start of the epidemic.
