There are 251 new patients admitted to intensive care in the last 24 hours. However, the daily balance is less than 29 units, bringing the total number of people in intensive care to 3,291. On the other hand, the number of people admitted to ordinary wards was 565 less than yesterday, for a total of 29,088 patients.
Veneto is the first region of new infections Veneto is confirmed as the Region with the highest increase in Covid cases in 24 hours: in fact, there are 4,197 new infections. Lombardy ranks second with 2,093 new infections. Above a thousand Lazio (+1,488), Campania (+1,453), Emilia-Romagna (+1,453), Puglia (+1,332) and Sicily (+1,059). Only Basilicata (+46), Molise (+22) and Valle d’Aosta (+18) register two-digit increases: the other Regions register three-digit increases.
