There are 1,483 new positives in Sicily in the last 24 hours out of 11,536 swabs, with a positivity rate of 12.8%. This is what the newsletter of the Ministry of Health reports. The number of deaths continues to decrease: in fact, 27 victims were registered in a single day (yesterday there were 34). Registry of cured, 2455 and after three months, it had not happened since August, the number of current positives decreases (-999).
There are currently 39,731 positives of which 1,494 hospitalized, 220 in intensive care and 38,017 in home isolation. Those cured increased to 25,221 while the victims to 1,616. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 66,568 people have been infected in our region. Regarding the distribution of the new positives among the provinces: Palermo 390, Catania 621, Messina 242, Ragusa 42, Trapani 70, Syracuse 60, Agrigento 0, Caltanissetta 52, Enna 6.
On the other hand, there are 20,709 positive tests for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Italyand 684 victims (less than yesterday). A slight increase in cases, therefore, at the national level. Rise in cure: 38,740 were registered in 24 hours. The number of positive numbers is currently down dramatically with a reduction of 18,715 and bringing the total to 761,230. The positivity rate nationwide is 9.9%.
