PHOTOThere are 1,452 infected with Covid in the last 24 hours., an increase compared to 1,229 yesterday but identified with a greater number of tampons: more than 100,000 compared to 80,000 on Tuesday. The total number of infected, including victims and cured, amounts to 291,442 while that of discharged and cured is 215,265, 620 more than yesterday. The increase in deaths is also increasing: 12 in one day compared to 9 yesterday. No region has zero cases.
The positives currently for Covid in Italy have exceeded 40 thousand, a number never so high since the beginning of June (on the 2nd, for the first time in months, patients fell to 39,893). According to data from the Ministry of Health, current patients are 40,532 with an increase of 820 compared to Tuesday. The number of hospitalized in ordinary wards also increases –63 more than yesterday for a total of 2,285 – and in intensive care: there are now 207 patients, 6 more than yesterday. In contrast, there is an increase of 751 people in home isolation, which to date is 38,040.
Meanwhile, the number of doctors killed by Covid-19 stands at 177. This was announced by the National Federation of Medical Orders (Fnomceo). Urologist Paolo Marandola, active in Zambia to study Covid-19, joins the list of doctors who died from the epidemic published on the Fnomceo portal. Fnomceo updates the list of physicians who have lost their lives in the epidemic to include practicing physicians, retired physicians, and retirees called to emergency services.
