Milan, September 14, 2020 – Net decrease in new positives in the last 24 hours in Lombardy but compared to fewer tampons. I’m on it 125 cases of Covid-19 checked today with 7,931 swabs processed (1,830,924 since the start of the emergency). Yesterday new infections more than doubled (265), with 12,884 swabs. Going to observe the relationship between positives and swabs there is a slight improvement: on Sunday the figure was 2%, today 1.57%. As for the new cases – the Region announced in its daily bulletin – 12 are ‘weakly positive’ and 4 derive from serological tests. Two deaths recorded (there were three yesterday), for a total of 16,901. In front of the hospital they remain establish intensive care (28) while there is a jump of 10 with respect to the rest of admissions (262). They grow in 64 i cured / discharged, 77,715 in total, of which 1,388 were discharged and 76,327 recovered.

In Italy, 1,008 coronavirus infections are registered in the last 24 hours, more than 450 less than yesterday but with almost 27,000 fewer swabs: 72,143 were performed on Saturday, 45,309 yesterday. On the other hand, the increase in victims doubles in one day: from 7 on Sunday to 14 today, for a total of 35,624 since the beginning of the emergency. Lombardy third for new cases and hospitalizations

The first region for new daily cases is Lazio (181 with 8,818 swabs), second is Emilia-Romagna (127 for 4,849 swabs) and third is Lombardy with 125 cases and 7,931 swabs. First of all for patients in intensive care Lombardy (28), followed by Campania (19), Tuscany and Emilia (both with 18 hospitalizations). As for the rest of hospitalized patients, first Lazio with 410 patients, then Campania (286) and Lombardy (262).
