Coronavirus, 12 positive students at Bellante elementary school: school closed

BELLANTE – I must inform you that the swabs made to third grade students in the capital have yielded positive results in twelve cases. Additionally, a teacher and an educational assistant tested positive.
ASL is calling all the families of the children who tested positive and is already tracing the contacts.
As a precaution, in accordance with the ASL and the direction of our school, I have prepared an order to close the entire Via Molise complex, until the results of the swabs are released, which I have requested to be presented as soon as possible. all students attending the aforementioned complex.
Even if all are asymptomatic or paucisymptomatic, the high number of infections raises concern about the risk of further spread of the virus, so it is absolutely necessary, at this time, to keep your attention on the behavior of each one: carefully avoid any possible occasion of contact, even within parental contexts, with special attention to the most fragile subjects, and scrupulously observe the rules of containment. I recommend to the families involved: do not panic or despair. Children can easily react to infection. Although the handling of cases is the responsibility of the ASL, I remain in constant contact with the health and education authorities, to adopt, with unity of purpose, all the necessary measures to immediately know the status of infections within the school, to protect the health of our citizens and relegate this bad period to the past as soon as possible.
To make swabs to the school population, I requested the installation of a mobile station in Bellante.
