am 116 new positives in Sicily in the last 24 hours, of which 66 are guests of the Mission Hope and Charity by Biagio Conte in Palermo, out of 3,210 swabs made. This is what emerges from the bulletin of the Ministry of Health. Currently there are 2,316 positives of which 194 hospitalized with symptoms (+3 compared to yesterday), 13 in intensive care, 2,109 in home isolation. The positives since the beginning of the pandemic in Sicily are 5,962. The victims are still 296.
The healed amount to 3,350 (+32) while 296 people are still dead. Regarding the provinces, the record, unfortunately negative, registered by the Palermo province with 81 cases. Regarding the other provinces: 15 positive in Catania, 3 in Messina, 1 in Syracuse, 2 in Ragusa, 1 in Trapani, 11 in Agrigento and 2 in Caltanissetta.
Nationally The number of Covid infections in the last 24 hours is stable: 1,587 cases compared to 1,638 the day before. The number of deaths fell, 15 died on the last day, after yesterday’s rebound, when 24 victims were registered. Total deaths are 35,707.
There was a sharp decline in the number of tampons made: 83,428, about 20,000 less than yesterday. Lombardy is the only region to exceed 200 new cases (+221), followed by Veneto (+173) and Campania (+171). Data has not been received for the Abruzzo region.
