With a meeting in the Chamber of about an hour, the first story explained the new economic measures established in the Ristori decree, rejected by the Council of Ministers yesterday.

Giuseppe Conte defends, once again, his work, aware of the enormous sacrifices at the head of some categories, necessary to safeguard public health. Thus, in the question time that was held early in the afternoon in the Chamber of Deputies, the premier illustrated the fundamental points of the new Ristori decree: bonuses, compensation, exemption from contributions for restaurants, bars, pastry shops, affected businesses, gyms, swimming pools, cinemas and theaters.
Among the measures confirmed by the Prime Minister:
- extension of layoffs;
- non-refundable contributions for a maximum amount of 150,000 euros;
- tax credit for commercial rentals also for companies that invoice more than 5 million euros per year);
- tax exceptions and funds for the agricultural, fisheries and aquaculture sectors;
- bonuses for entertainment, tourism and sports workers.
In general, the Prime Minister defends the work of the government team and highlights the speed of the issuance of the new decree law, just two days after the Prime Minister’s Decree of October 24. Now it remains to be seen whether or not the “promise” to deliver benefits in less than a month (to be precise from November 15) will be kept.
