The decrease in hospitalizations of covid-19 positive patients in Piedmont continues. This is what reveals the numbers for today, Tuesday, December 8, provided by the Crisis Unit of the Region. There are 15 fewer patients in intensive care, for a total of 330, and 119 fewer in the other departments (in total there are 4,124).
Although the infections remain as yesterday, below a thousand cases -952 new positives of coronavirus, to be exact-, with a ratio of 8.3% compared to the 11,514 swabs carried out, deaths in the last 24 hours are 59 , of which 13 today. Since the start of the pandemic, 6,746 have lost their lives due to the virus and deaths are divided as follows by province: 1000 Alessandria, 402 Asti, 296 Biella, 732 Cuneo, 588 Novara, 3,125 Turin, 322 Vercelli, 215 Verbano -Cusio- Ossola, as well as 66 residents outside the region, but who died in Piedmont.
Of the 952 new cases of positivity registered in the last 24 hours, 43.7% are asymptomatic. There are 60,059 people in home isolation and 2,219 more cured than yesterday: 108,392 in total.
