The president of Consob, Paolo Savona, tested positive for Covid-19. Savona, 84 on October 6, is asymptomatic, is currently in quarantine and works from home.

As a precaution, the Authority said, Consob’s offices in Rome and Milan were closed to carry out sanitation operations. They will be closed from Monday 14 to Friday 18. “The provision – reads a note from the Authority – was adopted by the general manager as a pattern as a precautionary measure after the case of the president’s COVID positivity.” Sanitation operations will be carried out in accordance with current health regulations.
