How does it work

The Master’s students met in the rooms of the Italian National Team museum, at the gates of the Federal Technical Center of Coverciano, to take the last test of their educational career as a coach. The UEFA Pro course represents the final training step for those who wish to pursue a coaching career and their qualification allows them to lead any team, including those participating in the Serie A and Serie B men’s championships. In the presence of the president of the Technical Sector, Demetrio Albertini, and the director of the School of Coaching, Renzo Ulivieri, the first section of students took their final exams today; Tomorrow the second group of students will close an educational path that began a year ago, at the end of September 2019, and which had a total of 240 teaching hours, including those followed online during the closure due to the health emergency. Today the students of the first group took the individual exams of each subject in the morning and later in the afternoon, in front of the assembled commission made up of all the teachers, they discussed their theses.

The other big names

Not just Andrea Pirlo. The roster of new licensed coaches also includes Vincenzo Italiano, coach of the recently promoted Spezia in Serie A, Fabio Caserta, Marco Cassetti, Morgan De Sanctis, Paolo Montero and the coach of the U17 women’s team, Nazzarena Grilli. Among the students expected tomorrow for the exam, the coach of the Under 15 men’s team, Patrizia Panico, and the former coach of Genoa -exvice-European champion in 2012 as a footballer with the blue jersey- Thiago Motta.
