They beat up a twenty-eight year old boy even seriously injuring him and causing him to lose an eye. The beating because the victim had not invited them to a party that he had organized. Threats and insultswhich later resulted in physical violence. The Carabinieri of the Civitavecchia Company have arrested and sent to jail three people, responsible for very serious personal injury. They are two boys who attended the same gym as the 28-year-old and who practiced boxing and his brother-in-law. The execution of the precautionary prison measure issued by the investigating judge began today, Friday, October 2, at the request of the Public Ministry. The events date back to July 20, when the victim, a child from Ladispoli, a municipality on the north coast of the province of Rome, went to the police to report having suffered an attack. He explained to the military that the night before he had been beaten by two brothers and his brother-in-law, for trivial reasons, but they had beaten him so much that the blows he received had caused him to lose an eye.
A girl investigated for private violence
On the summer afternoon in which the events occurred, the young man was in the company of his girlfriend and was walking down the street, when he met the sister of the two boxers, who would have warned them that she had met the twenty-eight-year-old. Together with his brother-in-law, the two immediately joined them and threw themselves at him, brutally hitting him with fists to the face, while his sister blocked his girlfriend from helping him and she too was under investigation, for private violence. That night after the attack, the desperate couple headed to the San Paolo hospital in Civitavecchia.
The boy beaten in Civitavecchia lost an eye
Arriving at the emergency room shortly after the incident, the young man needed medical attention. But despite the surgery he underwent, due to the serious health conditions he was in, the surgeons unfortunately could not save his eye, which was irreversibly damaged by the beatings received. The investigations of the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Civitavecchia, coordinated by the Public Ministry, which, thanks to the account provided by some witnesses, led to the arrest of the three boys, who are now in prison, where they remain at the disposal of the Authority judicial.
