VERONA – After the derogatory flyers inviting to monitor the work of health workers, in the last hours they appeared insults and violent attacks in social networks addressed to doctors and nurses of the Integrated University Hospital of Verona, linked to cases of infection of citrobacter.
Some of these intimidations are accompanied by physical and death threats. The Verona Medical Association stigmatizes this climate of verbal violence against health workers. “We are close to the families of the children who are victims of citrobacter and we will do everything possible, as far as we are concerned, to shed some light on the matter,” the president clarified.
