We remind you, in fact, that every month the Institute checks that the beneficiaries of the Citizenship Income still meet the requirements indicated by the legislation, that is, by crossing the data they have. In detail, the INPS assesses whether in the meantime the family unit has presented a new ISEE (for example due to a change in the number of components) or if you reported a change in income delivering the Extended RdC-Com module. Other information that is taken into consideration is that received from Employment centers: Remember, in fact, that those who do not appear at the first call for the Labor Agreement lose the salary of a month of the Citizenship Income and that it is the duty of the INPS to make the cut.
And as of this month, among the operations of the Institute’s competence is also that of verifying that the Citizenship Income accredited in recent months has been i spent everything, under penalty of reduction of the “saved” (reduction that in no case can exceed 20% of the amount paid).
Once all these evaluations have been carried out, the INPS sends the payment arrangements to Poste Italiane, which proceeds with the recharges. Well, in these hours the INPS is completing the work for all the beneficiaries and as soon as this process is completed, the provisions will be sent with Poste Italiane that will be able to proceed with the accreditation.
But there is news that shakes the beneficiaries of the Citizenship Income: according to the testimonies of many wage earnersin fact, this month the amount of support was trimmed by several tens of euros and in some cases the reduction is even three digits.

Although Citizenship Income has not yet been paid (and it probably won’t be until next week) it is now possible to check the amount that will be credited to the purchase card this month.
Just go your own INPS personal area and check the status of payments; here you will be informed of the carrying out of the necessary controls by the INPS with the family member amount of support. And this is exactly what many beneficiaries of the Citizenship Income have done who this morning got an unpleasant surprise about it.
It is not just the fact that for many this will be the last month of accreditation to cause concern: as the majority of salaried employees say – who have flocked to social networks to express their dissatisfaction with what is happening- Citizenship income this month is lower than usual, with a cut that sometimes even exceeds 100 euros.

In detail, the comparison between the available balance on the card and the value of the monthly benefit actually paid should result in a balance equal to zero: if it is greater, the difference is totally subtracted from the benefit paid in the following month, in maximum limit of 20% of the monthly amount generally accredited.
So for those of the comparison between what was credited in July and not spent at the end of August A positive balance and therefore a “remainder” of the Citizens’ Income has been verified, the amount of the benefit was cut in the monthly salary credited in September.
But be careful: this is just one of the possible reasons for the cut in the Citizenship Income in September. And in this case the reduction will be indicated with the appropriate wording “penalty for not using the measure fully”.
In fact, this is not necessarily the reason for your cut. As mentioned above, the INPS makes a recalculation every month taking into account the income received in recent months and this operation could also have led to a reduction in profit.
