The decree law that contains more urgent provisions to address the health risks associated with the spread of the Covid-19 virus, launched yesterday by the Council of Ministers, was published in the Official Gazette.

The new rules approved by the government do not allow more than two people, with minor children, to go to visit other people.
What the red zone provides
(December 24, 25, 26 and 27; December 31 and January 1; January 2, 3, 5 and 6)
- Any movement, inside and outside the municipality itself, is prohibited, except for work needs, situations of need and health reasons. To move you need self-certification.
- During the holidays, you can visit family and friends. Only moving to private houses for two people and once a day is allowed. You can bring with you children under 14 years old, people with disabilities or not self-sufficient. Self-certification is always required.
- The curfew remains in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- For those who violate the prohibitions provided by the decree, penalties ranging from 400 to 1,000 euros are provided.
- Retail commercial activities (stores, beauty centers) are suspended, with the exception of the sale of food and basic necessities.
- Kiosks, tobacconists, pharmacies, parapharmacies, laundries, hairdressers and barbers remain open. Places of worship can remain open until 10:00 p.m.
- The activities of the catering services (including bars, pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlors, patisseries) are suspended. Catering is allowed with home delivery and, until 10 pm, with take away food.
- Individual physical activity and sports are allowed near your home.
What the orange zone provides
(December 28, 29, 30 and January 4)
- You can leave your home but any movement in and out of the municipalities of residence is prohibited.
- One rule concerns the smallest municipalities: it will be possible to leave the territory of municipalities with less than five thousand inhabitants within a radius of 30 kilometers. However, you will not be able to travel to go to the provincial capitals, even if they are within a radius of 30 kilometers.
- The shops can remain open until 9:00 p.m., but the activities of the catering services are suspended (including bars, pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlors, patisseries). Catering with home delivery is allowed and, until 10 pm, take-out catering, with prohibition of consumption on the spot or in the immediate vicinity. In any case, the restaurants on the highway and the catering services at the stations and airports remain open.
