Another element that gives the signal that infections are growing again is the fact, Sestili continued, that “although hospitals were practically empty in August, in recent days the admissions to intensive care have increased, as well as deaths. We also know – he added – that the effects on intensive care hospitalizations are recorded on average ten days after infections and that the two curves follow the same trend.
