3) 4 thousand euros in the range 0-20 g / km (in practice, electric cars), without scrapping;
4) 6 thousand euros in the range 0-20 g / km with scrapping.
Enhanced bonuses
Throughout 2021 (subject to depletion of funds), these bonuses are once again reinforced by 2,000 euros in the event of scrapping a car up to 5 euros registered before January 1, 2011 and in 1,000 euros without scrapping; all this provided that the seller recognizes a discount at least equal to these additional government contributions. Therefore, those who scrape a Euro 5 before 2011 are entitled to these contributions to the maximum extent (2,000 euros) despite the fact that the main applicable eco-voucher is the one provided without scrapping.
Which models are allowed and which are not
Attention: for contracts signed in 2021, it is not certain that the incentives mentioned so far will apply to all models that benefited from them in 2020. In fact, CO2 emissions are now measured with the Wltp cycle which, being less realistic than previous Nedc, it causes the measured values to increase. Therefore some models will no longer be able to stay within 60g / km; they will be re-entered only if, even if they were registered in 2021, they were purchased in 2020, because the Budget law establishes that in this case the Nedc still applies (see “Il Sole 24” Ore of December 23).
Those who are excluded from these incentives and buy a model with a list price lower than 40 thousand euros without VAT until June 30, however, can be “caught” in which the same law has reintroduced to help the market of traditional motors. Compared to last summer, the maximum threshold is raised to 135 g / km (from 110) to “neutralize” the Wltp effect and the dowry is 250 million (instead of 150).
