GAMBELLARA – Caravan disengages from the trailer hitch of a caravan and hits two high school students. It happened today, shortly after 3.30 pm, on the SP22 Calderina in Gambellara. The two children were walking along the edge of the road and both were injured. Upon the arrival of the Lonigo firefighters, the two students had already been treated by SUEM personnel to be transferred to the hospital: one by helicopter and the other by ambulance. The local police and the carabinieri diverted the traffic and carried out the measurements of the accident to determine the causes of the mechanical breakage that caused the serious accident. Rescue operations by firefighters ended after about an hour and a half.
