Everything as expected. On the expiration day of the previous ordinance that ordered the closure of schools at all levels until November 15, the Governor of Campania Vincenzo De Luca signed the new ordinance extending the suspension of educational activities in the presence of kindergarten and the first grades of primary school until November 23. “In view of the resumption of these activities as of November 24 – it reads in ordinance number 90 – the local health authorities have the mandate to guarantee the performance of the screening, through the administration of antigenic swabs, on a voluntary basis, to the staff, teacher and non-teacher of the classes in question, as well as students and cohabiting relatives ”.
In addition, until November 29, 2020, teaching activities in the presence of primary classrooms other than the first and those of the first lower secondary classes and the workshop activities are suspended. Likewise, “the territorially competent local health authorities are given a mandate with the support of the Southern Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute to organize Screening, through the administration of antigenic swabs, on a voluntary basis, to teaching and non-teaching staff, affected students and family members who cohabit, before the resumption of the activities in presence as of November 30, 2020, in a way compatible with the epidemiological situation detected in the area ”.
