The periodic meeting convened by President De Luca with the health directors of the ASL and the Crisis Unit for the assessment of the COVID-19 situation in Campania took place today at Palazzo Santa Lucia.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the issue regarding the resumption of face-to-face teaching activities for kindergarten and first grade primary school was discussed with the Regional Crisis Unit, as provided by Ordinance No. 90/2020.

A note was taken of the screening activities carried out in the area and it was agreed that next Monday the Local Health Authorities will formally communicate the results of the operations carried out. Based on the data and reports presented, decisions will be made on the reopening of activities in the presence of the examined school classes, without prejudice, in any case, to the possibility that the different Municipalities decide independently in relation to situations of specific criticality possibly present in individual territories. Meanwhile, it has been established that the detection operations were extended to the older age groups of the student population that those involved so far will continue in the coming weeks.
