In the space of half a month, Campania is back in that ‘bubble’ of suspension of daily life that Covid19 represents, due to the risks of contagion, due to information overdose (traditional and online media, texts on social networks, videos, whatsapp , telegram and anything else) from word of mouth information (from the condo doorman to the greengrocer). After a summer in which Covid had become more of a topic of discussion than something tangible, we realized that this was not the case at all. Then we try to make sense of the confinement, the infections, the intensive care, even the dead transported in Army trucks. August has arrived and has tried to sweep away the old looking for a new beginning and today we are almost back to back, aware that a vaccine will be needed. No one will come to save us: we will necessarily have to slow down again, preventing the Coronavirus (which has no hands or feet but simply allows us to “push” to walk from one person to another) from spreading in clusters and outbreaks throughout Campania, including areas with the highest population density in Europe. It remains to be seen whether this fear will lead not only to compliance with new and stricter regulations, but to optimization of the problems of Campania’s health system. And not all, no miracle is needed: tampons, medical check-ups, places in intensive care. Everything we already knew in March. And that was not done.
