The contagion curve in Calabria remains high. In the last hours, 237 new cases have emerged (yesterday it was 257). You are the victims. The data is confirmed in today’s newsletter of the Region in which it is observed that a total of 411,213 subjects were subjected to tests for a total of 429,174 swabs performed (more tests can be performed on the same subject). The people who tested positive for the Coronavirus are 22,515 (+237 compared to yesterday), the negative 388,698.
Infections in Calabria
Territorially, since the beginning of the epidemic, positive cases are distributed as follows:
– Cosenza: 4,443 active cases (59 in the Cosenza hospital unit; 8 in the Rossano hospital unit and 5 in the Cetraro hospital unit; 6 in the Ari unit; 9 in the field hospital; 8 in intensive care, 4348 in home isolation); 2,436 cases closed (2,241 recovered, 195 deaths).
– Catanzaro: active cases 1,430 (12 in the Catanzaro hospital ward; 10 in the Lamezia Terme hospital; 7 in the Mater Domini university hospital; 5 in intensive care; 1,396 in home isolation); 1,771 cases closed (1,692 recovered, 79 deaths).
– Crotone: active cases 449 (26 in ward; 423 in home isolation); 1,734 cases closed (1,700 recovered, 34 deceased).
– Vibo Valentia: 329 active cases (16 hospitalized, 313 in home isolation); 1,061 cases closed (1,034 recovered, 27 deaths).
– Reggio Calabria: active cases 1,756 (93 in the ward; 12 OP in Gioia Tauro; 5 in intensive care; 1,646 in home isolation); 6,748 closed cases (6,636 recovered, 112 deaths).
– Another foreign region or state: 154 active cases (154 in home isolation); 204 cases closed (204 cured).
Data in provinces
Today’s confirmed cases are divided as follows: Cosenza 24; Catanzaro 24; Crotone 37; Vibo Valentia 32; Reggio Calabria 120.
Since the last survey, a total of 172 people have registered on the Calabria Region portal to communicate their presence in the regional territory. The count also includes the two patients from Bergamo transferred to Catanzaro, while the numbers of contagion received after communication of the data to Civil Protection.
