The new infections in Calabria continue. In the last hours, 16 more cases have been registered. This was reported in today’s newsletter for the Region, which highlights that 178,292 swabs have been made to date.
And contagion
The people who tested positive for the Coronavirus are 1,757 (+16 compared to yesterday), the negative ones are 176,535.
Territorially, the positive cases are distributed as follows:
– Catanzaro: 11 in the room; 1 in intensive care; 34 in home isolation; 187 recovered; 33 deceased.
– Cosenza: 9 in the room; 3 in intensive care; 105 in home isolation; 465 recovered; 34 deceased.
– Reggio Calabria: 6 in the room; 97 in home isolation; 304 cured; 19 deceased.
– Crotone: 20 in home isolation; 117 recovered; 6 deceased.
– Vibo Valentia: 8 in home isolation; 85 recovered; 5 dead
– Another foreign region or state: 208 (the total also includes the person who died in the Cosenza intensive care unit who resided outside the region).
Hospitalizations
Usually there are 13 admissions to the Catanzaro hospital of which 5 refer to non-residents. There are 13 people in treatment at Ao di Cosenza; of these 3 are “non-residents”, while the patient discharged from Cosenza was placed in the setting “outside the region”.
The total number of cases in Catanzaro includes subjects from other structures who have been discharged over time.
Today there are 9 new cases of which: a migrant from Cas di Amantea, a case of restitution, 3 cases attributable to the Cosenza (restaurant) outbreak, 2 cases attributable to the Chianciano outbreak, a contact case of the Mongrassano municipality employee, a Corigliano Rossano case with investigation in progress.
Since the last survey, people who have registered on the Calabria Region portal to communicate its presence in the regional territory is 1,720 in total. The count also includes the two patients from Bergamo transferred to Catanzaro, while the numbers of the infection received after the communication of the data to National Civil Protection are not included.
