The Council of Ministers ended overnight without a decision having been made on the name of the health commissioner for the Calabria region.
Started at 8:35 p.m. and suspended at 10:40 p.m., the Council of Ministers ends at 00:40 without having made a decision, as expected, on the name of the Region’s health commissioner Calabria.
The CdM ended with nothing, after the vetoes crossed over the two names in the race: on the one hand Narciso Mostarda, director of ASL Roma 6, on the other the former prefect of Florence and Reggio Calabria, Luigi Varratta.
After the ballet of names in recent weeks that saw three appointments jump, one after another, first General Saverio Cotticelli, Manager Giuseppe Zuccatelli and then former Rector Eugenio Gaudio, the CdM River failed to unravel the node, thanks to the veto of the 5 stars on Mostarda, seen by the grillini as a “political appointment” also in light of the role of former councilor of the PD action in Frosinone.
At this point, the appointment is postponed to a new CoM – alternative profiles are already being explored.
