“I don’t want to minimize the disease”, but “last year I was very ill, I had pneumonia for which I was also admitted to San Raffaele and I was terribly ill, nothing comparable to how I was in these 24 days”. Flavio briatore speaks again after being cured of Covid. And he does it with a video, posted on Instagram, filmed in the Monte Carlo house to which he returned as soon as he was able to move, after the second negative swab that certified his recovery.
«I was in the hospital for 3-4 days, then they followed me at Daniela Santanché’s house – follow -. I think it is essential to tell my experience because I understand that now Covid can be defeated and collective psychological hysteria should not be fed. Covid can be cured, it certainly makes us vulnerable, but I tell you it can be cured, ”continues Briatore.
Briatore explained that “he had been ill for two days, otherwise much less than pneumonia.” The coronavirus is a very strong problem, but in Italy there is a bigger problem: we are a country of envious, jealous, resentful and evil. I don’t even want to remember what some newspapers said. Our battle is to get back to work, get on with normal life, and make sure this virus doesn’t starve us to death. We have to follow the rules that doctors make, including mask, wash our hands, keep our distance when there are peoplehowever, the country must restart. We must confront the coronavirus seriously and firmly but we must resume production and talk about specific problems. In recent weeks, Briatore had criticized the government’s decision to avoid dancing in discos, beaches and lodgings. “We live in a crazy country,” he wrote on Instagram.
Briatore’s words come the day after his resignation, again from San Raffaele, from Silvio Berlusconi: the former prime minister, who is a friend of Briatore, was expressed in much more cautious termscompared to a disease he called ‘hellish’: ‘It was the most dangerous test of my life. I appeal to the utmost responsibility: I have personally proven that until the virus is eradicated, each one of us is exposed to the risk of becoming infected and infecting others.
