BOLOGNA. Governor Stefano Bonaccini takes stock of the capacity of sports facilities and once again asks the Government to set a percentage to be respected. On the horizon is the Imola Grand Prix, scheduled for November 1, for which access to 13,000 spectators has already been authorized, upon request. A maximum capacity of one thousand spectators was shared for the stadiums. But as for the sports halls, and also the racecourse, the governor returns to occupy the position. A few days ago the Scientific Technical Committee rejected the 25% capacity, but Bonaccini hopes to reach an agreement with the government maybe “file” down the percentage.
Yesterday in the meeting with the ministers Francesco Boccia and Roberto Speranza, Bonaccini reiterated the request: the question remains open in the confrontation with the Executive, facing the next Dpcm that must be issued before October 15. There you will find the indications that will also apply to the Imola GP, an event that returns to the city in Santerno after 14 years.
Yesterday morning, interviewed by La7, Bonaccini reiterated the phrase about stadiums: “If there is a safe place, it is a stadium with 20-30 thousand seats where a thousand people go.” Then, in the meeting with the ministers, which will be followed by the Conference of Regions today at 10:30 am, the president of Emilia insisted. on the capacity of sports facilities and indoor spaces, such as sports halls and theaters.
In a frame that is continuous evolution, the governor is keeping the bar straight on the issue of flu vaccines and the tests now available, such as rapid swabs and serology. But also on the autonomy of the different institutional levels, which must be coordinated to be effective.
Bonaccini also shared the option of imposing the mask even outdoors, especially to convey the message of the need not to lower our guard. But work is also always on the agenda: yesterday at a summit on the Fair, the governor assured that the Region will do its part, in the common will to support it.
